UFC BJJ 13 is scheduled to take place on Thursday, October 29, 2026, at the UFC’s Meta Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. This event promises an exciting lineup, including two title fights and appearances from champions of CJI and ADCC.
In a significant development, Mikey Musumeci, the first and only UFC BJJ bantamweight champion, has announced his decision to vacate his title. Musumeci aims to focus on MMA training and casual jiu-jitsu matches, marking the end of his serious grappling career. Competing for the now vacant bantamweight title will be Musumeci’s training partner, two-time world champion Jalen Fonacier, who is set to face Kleber Barboza.
The main event will feature another title bout, with Jay Rodriguez going up against William Tackett, who is looking for his second opportunity at a UFC BJJ championship.
Additionally, the card includes Nick Rodriguez, a CJI champion and brother of Jay, who will compete against recent IBJJF Pan-Am champion Nata Tenca. The event also showcases the returns of reigning and former ADCC champions, including Jasmine Rocha and Ffion Davies, who will each participate in separate matches. Notably, CJI veteran and champion wrestler Pat Downey will make his debut in this stacked lineup.
This no-gi Brazilian jiu-jitsu event will be available for streaming live on UFC Fight Pass, starting at 8 p.m. ET.
